Lavender: The mother of all essential oils

Ahh Lavender! A favorite essential oil among massage therapists as it promotes deep relaxation, encourages sleep, and offers many healing properties. Lavender is one of the few oils that is typically safe to apply neat (directly on the skin) but works well with our warmed coconut oil. As a part of the mint family it's lovely blended with peppermint, rosemary, or other floral scents such as rose.
